Note that both the organization settings and user policies are turned on by default.įor a user to use external access, both the organization setting and a user policy must allow it. User policies determine which users can use the options that you've configured at the organization level.Ĭonfigure the organization settings to specify which types of external meetings and chat you want to allow, and then configure user policies for the users who should have access to these features. The organization settings apply to your entire organization. Organization settings and user policies for external accessĮach external access option has both an organization setting and user policies. The meeting lobby can control how people outside your organization join meetings. See Plan for meetings with external participants in Microsoft Teams for more information. It's important to note that there are other settings in Teams-including guest access and anonymous access-that affect meetings with people outside your organization. The data policies of the hosting user's organization, as well as the data sharing practices of any third-party apps shared by that user's organization, are applied. They can also use apps shared by external users when they join meetings or chats hosted externally. To edit the properties of an attached file:Ĭlick Properties next to the attachment you want to edit.Your users can add apps when they host meetings or chats with people outside your organization. You'll need the Add Attachment permission in the space to edit the file properties. Note that the image will not appear on the page itself, but only as one of the page attachments visible in the attachments view ( > Attachments) and the Attachments macro. If the destination page is in another space, include the space key at the beginning of the page name (for example, DOC:My Destination Page). In the Page field, enter the name of the destination page for the attachment (for example, My Destination Page). Select Properties next to the attachment you want to move. To change the page that a file is attached to: You'll need the Add Page, Add Attachment, and Remove Attachment space permissions to move an attached file to another page. There is no option to delete all files on a page at once. Select Delete next to the attachment you want to delete. To delete a file that is attached to a page: However, you must also have the Space Administrator permission to delete a specific version of a file. Delete an attached fileĪnyone with the Delete Attachment space permission can delete a file that is attached to a page. There's no option to download all attachments in a space at once. Right click on the name of the file you’d like to download to save it to your computer, or select Download All (at the bottom of the table) to download all files attached to the page as a single zip file. Select to open the more options menu, then select Attachments. Downloading attached filesĪny user with permission to view a page can download files that are attached to that page. The files you upload are attached to pages in Confluence. See Upload a file for more info. Once a file is attached, you can download, delete, or edit it by uploading a new version.
